AFTER being remanded for an assault case at a condominium, actor Sharnaaz Ahmad has reiterated that he would not do anything to tarnish his reputation and that of his family.
Harian Metro reported that the actor said he was not naive to act that way and quashed speculation that he was a hothead.
“Please wait for the truth to be revealed. I only did what was necessary with most of what is currently being said coming from the other party and not mine,” he said upon being released from the Sentul district police headquarters in Kuala Lumpur on Monday.
He added that the public should not judge him too quickly and that he had already given his statement to the police.
“I will have a press conference soon to explain the real situation. The past three days, in fact, have been for me to help with the investigations.
“The police have also treated me well here,” he said.
He was also confident of his innocence and said he would prove it through the courts.
“I hope no one will further speculate on this and label me a criminal,” he said, adding that he wanted to meet with his son first.
