ACTRESS Ieda Moin (pic) was admitted to a medical centre in Kuala Lumpur recently due to high blood pressure.
The 42-year-old actress, whose real name is Siti Haida Abd Moin, said she underwent a health check-up after feeling unwell, Sinar Harian reported.
Ieda said she felt uncomfortable and there was numbness in her limbs, hands, face and lips the day before she was admitted.
She also experienced throbbing which made her even more uncomfortable.
She then decided to see a medical officer for a more detailed health examination.
“The doctor was surprised at the blood pressure reading and I was immediately taken to the red zone and given medication,” she said.
Despite the medication, her blood pressure reading was still high and she was referred to a specialist who confirmed that she had high blood pressure.
“It was hard for me to accept this because I practise a healthy lifestyle and take care of my nutrition. But I guess the doctor knows better,” she said.
