PETALING JAYA: Malaysia recorded 12,380 new Covid-19 cases on Sunday (April 3), says the Health Ministry.
According to the ministry’s CovidNow portal, 11,918 of the new Covid-19 infections in the country were local transmissions, while there were 462 imported cases.
This brings the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 4,246,467 cases since the pandemic began.
A total of 30 deaths were recorded on Sunday with 11 classified as being brought in dead, bringing the total to 35,099.
