PETALING JAYA: Malaysia recorded 3,267 new Covid-19 infections on Wednesday (Nov 9), says the Health Ministry.
The Health Ministry said through data released on its KKMNow portal on Thursday (Nov 10) that this brings the new total to 4,937,020 cases since the pandemic began.
Of the 3,267, two are imported cases while 3,265 are local.
The ministry also said through its KKMNow portal that there were 4,026 recoveries on Saturday, bringing the total number of active cases in Malaysia to 34,829.
Of the active cases, 95% or 33,103 individuals are undergoing home quarantine, while 4.7% of active cases or 1,635 individuals need to be hospitalised, with 91 warded in intensive care units (ICU) throughout the country.
Of that number, 63 require ventilator support.
