KUALA LUMPUR: More than 1,000 folding bike cyclists dressed in Raya outfits were seen cycling around Dataran Merdeka as part of the Kayuh Raya programme, which was held in conjunction with the festive season.
The cyclists belonged to 44 folding bike clubs from Malaysia and Singapore, Bernama reported.
The event yesterday was organised by Muhammad Firdaus Abdul Karim from the Klang Foldies club, which was set up in 2016.
According to him, the programme’s objective was to strengthen the bond between folding bike enthusiasts.
The participants wore baju melayu and baju kurung as well as kebaya.
