Infinix Lists Note 30, Note 30 5G, Note 30 Pro On Global Website

Infinix Note 30 family

Infinix has listed three phones as part of its Note 30 series of phones on its international webside. The number is the naming is an odd one to go for as these look to be successors to the Note 12 line. But at any rate, the new devices are listed as the Infinix Note 30, Note 30 5G, and Note 30 Pro. These come just slightly ahead of a scheduled local launch, giving us a glimpse of what may be coming to our shores.

Starting with the base model Infinix Note 30, this is noted to come with a 6.78-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. The chipset is listed as a MediaTek Helio G99, with 8GB of RAM and a choice of either 128GB or 256GB of storage space. While the company says that the phone features its new All-Round FastCharge tech, the 5000mAh battery doesn’t support the full 260W charging, and is instead capped at 45W. It does get reverse wired charging though.

On cameras, the Infinix Note 30 gets a 64MP main camera, with another 2MP camera alongside. There’s also an AI camera of unspecified resolution. In front, it has a 16MP secondary camera sitting in a punch hole cutout.

Moving on to the Infinix Note 30 5G, this gets a chipset change to a MediaTek Dimensity 6080, and an additional RAM option of 4GB for some reason. The main camera has also been swapped for a 108MP shooter. Specs wise, everything else is unchanged from the base model.

Then comes the Infinix Note 30 Pro, which is both the highlight and the oddball of the series. To start, the screen has been upgraded to an AMOLED panel, and while the resolution and refresh rate is maintained, the touch sampling rate has been bumped up to 360Hz. The 5000mAh battery now supports up to 68W charging. It also keeps the 108MP main camera from the 5G model, with an upgrade to 32MP for the front-facing shooter. But despite these upgrades, the chipset is back to the Helio G99, making this an LTE-only phone.

At the time of writing, all three web pages of the Inifinix Note 30 series phones are geofenced, and are still unlisted on the Malaysian site. These pages also do not list their prices, but GSMArena reports that all three devices are priced under US$300 (~RM1,368). This will likely change tomorrow, which is when the local launch is currently scheduled to happen.
