PAGOH: Perikatan Nasional will unveil a realistic manifesto for the upcoming Johor state election, says its chairman Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin (pic).
In his speech, Muhyiddin said that Perikatan will present several new offers including offers to implement housing programmes for Felda’s second generation, plans to address unemployment in the state as well as the high cost of living.
“If we are successful in forming the state government, we will implement all our promises,” said the former prime minister at Padang Awam Felda Seri Ledang here late Wednesday (Feb 24) night.
On the high cost of living, he said that Perikatan would create a short, mid and long term plans to address such issues.
“Many people said the price of chicken and vegetable have increased.
“This is a big issue not only in Johor but also across the country,” he said.
He also noted that Perikatan has its own plan to improve education and healthcare for the state.
“There will be a lot of new deals for the rakyat which will be unveiled in our manifesto,” he said.
