A MAN who went to a hospital to get a swollen scrotum treated was shocked to be congratulated on a successful vasectomy after he woke up, Malaysia Nanban reported.
Manka Yadav had planned to get married once he recovered from the operation to treat the swollen scrotum.
Losing the ability to have children through such a mistake by the doctors had devastated him and destroyed his life, said Manka’s father.
The anguish began for Manka when he went to a public hospital in Chainpur town in the Bihar state of India to seek treatment for the swollen scrotum.
Doctors advised him to undergo an operation to treat the problem.
When he regained consciousness after the surgery, Manka was told by the doctors that they had successfully completed the “family planning” surgery.
The health department has ordered the hospital to submit a report on the awful mistake within 24 hours.
