A MAN in Tamil Nadu who stripped in front of a voting centre was allowed to cast his ballot after getting dressed, Malaysia Nanban reported.
Mahesh Babu is apparently a gold jewellery evaluator at a private bank.
He had approached the voting centre in normal attire but then took off most of his clothes and hung a banner around his neck, demanding permanent positions and job security for evaluators.
Mahesh, who is also the chief of the evaluators association, apparently pulled the stunt to raise awareness of their plight.
> The Ashtangaa Yoga Federation Malaysia will organise a national level yoga competition in collaboration with the Yoga Mind Centre, Malaysia Nanban reported.
Federation chairman Amutha Gaverappen said the event would be held on March 5 at a temple in Sungai Petani, Kedah.
Winners will have the chance to compete at an international yoga competition in New Delhi.
