The OnePlus 11 has finally made its way to Malaysia after the brand teased the release of the new flagship a few days ago. The phone originally debuted in China last month, but while there was no word of a Malaysian launch, a local release was imminent seeing as how it was spotted in SIRIM’s database.
The new OnePlus flagship is the direct successor to last year’s 10 Pro and 10T, with the company confirming that there will be no Pro or T variant this year. This means that this particular model is the brand’s top offering for 2023, bringing with it cutting-edge flagship specs at a relatively modest price.
The device sports a 6.7-inch curved LTPO 3.0 AMOLED display with a 1440p resolution, an adaptive refresh rate that goes up to 120Hz, a peak brightness of 1,300 nits, and support for Dolby vision as well as HDR10+. On the back, it has a new and prominent circular island design which almost blends into the side of the phone, with a triple-camera rear setup.
Being the best the brand has to offer at the moment, it runs on the most powerful chipset from Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. This is paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage for the black variant while the green version gets 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
The OnePlus 11 brings back the Hasselblad branding for its image tuning, with a 50MP primary camera, a 48MP ultra-wide, a 32MP telephone with 2x optical zoom, and a 16MP selfie shooter. The device packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 100W charging, which is a downgrade from the 10T’s 150W but is still respectively fast.
The OnePlus 11 is available for pre-order from 16 February and will officially go on sale starting 25 February onwards. The black 8GB+128GB model is priced at RM3,299 while the green variant with 8GB+256GB gets a price tag of RM3,599.
