STUDENTS at SMK Sultan Sulaiman Shah in Bestari Jaya, Selangor, recorded a 100% passing rate for the Tamil Literature subject, Malaysia Nanban reported.
The school’s Parents Teacher Association (PTA) chairman Chandrabose Manivelu said the 81 Indian students taking SPM at the school passed all subjects.
Students taking the Tamil Language subject for SPM recorded a 93.1% passing rate.
Meanwhile Kirbashini Jeyakumar, a former student of the Bestari Jaya Tamil school who scored 11As was rewarded with a laptop to recognise and celebrate her achievement, Chandrabose said.
Meanwhile twin sisters from SMK Sultan Ahmad Shah in Cameron Highlands scored 11As in SPM, making their parents doubly proud, the daily also reported.
Kirthika Mohan and her twin Thirthana, who both went to the Tanah Rata Tamil school, scored the high marks along with two other schoolmates Logithra Sivam and Niranjani Arivazhagan.
