PRIME minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin is willing to create a form of understanding for all MPs to ensure that the Budget 2021 will be passed.

In a live televised address today, Muhyiddin urged all politicians to put aside their political differences in order to put the people’s agenda above all interests.

”A form of understanding can be created between all MPs to allow the Budget 2021 to be passed with the support from the government and opposition MPs,” he said.

“I hope all MPs can put aside their political differences to ensure Budget 2021 is passed for the sake of the people and the country,” he said, noting that more than 800,000 people have lost their jobs due to the pandemic.

Muhyiddin hinted that the upcoming budget will address economic issues plaguing the nation.

He said that the government is looking to channel allocations for the government agencies as well as providing various incentives and aids for the people and the corporate sector.
