The retail prices of RON95 and RON97 petrol will be lower by six sen per litre and diesel, by seven sen per litre, from midnight tonight to April 3, it was announced today.

RON95 will cost RM1.38; RON97, RM1.68, and diesel, also RM1.68, according to a statement issued by the Ministry of FInance.

“The drop in the retail prices of these petroleum products is due to the declining world crude oil prices, as a result of the uncertainty in the global economy caused by the COVID-19 pandemic,” the statement said.

It said the government will continue to monitor the impact of the changing world crude oil prices and take suitable measures to ensure the welfare and prosperity of the people.
