PUPILS of SJKT Ladang Wellesley in Lunas, Kedah, bagged two medals in an invention competition, Malaysia Nanban reported.
They represented the school in two categories at the Sirim Invention, Innovation and Technology Expo.
One of the teams developed a Kenaf plant-based utensil cleaner, they named the Natural Magic Metal Cleanser, that secured them a gold medal in the primary school’s advanced materials category.
Another team won a silver medal with an edible spoon made of fruit peels.
The competition, held at Kulim Hi-tech Park, saw 173 primary and secondary schools, as well as higher-learning institutions taking part.
