SHE tied her husband to a lamp post and beat him up after finding out that he had married another woman in another town.
The spurned wife, identified only as Agila, who lives in the Indian state of Telangana, has since been arrested, Makkal Osai reported.
It all began when Agila and Srikanth, her husband of four years, had a misunderstanding.
This caused Srikanth to leave Agila and their son – who lived in Peddapally town – and move to a different town.
Agila, who apparently thought the separation was temporary, was shocked to discover her husband had married another woman and was living with her.
She managed to track Srikanth down and get him back to their hometown with the help of her relatives, where she tied him to a lamp post, put a garland made of slippers on him, and beat him up.
She was later arrested by police.
